CWP volunteers play a very valuable role in supporting nearly every area of our work, and they help out in a range of different roles in various locations all across Cheshire and Wirral. Meet and Greet volunteer

The post holder would provide support to the Children Centre team, meeting and greeting visitors and directing people to areas within the centre. The post holder will work alongside the team to provide a peer support presence in the centres to encourage and enhance community engagement, access and positive experience of the centres.

Volunteering with CWP

Work experience in the NHS is a fantastic way to gain awareness and understanding into a particular career. It can also be a valuable way of gaining confidence and experience of working in a team and caring for people.

The Starting Well Service are currently offering a 2 week Work Experience Programme at Blacon Children's Centre, Chester.

  • Are you aged 16 to 25 years old?
  • Not currently in education, employment, or training?
  • Are you curious about what it’s like to work in the NHS?
  • Would you like to join us at Blacon Children’s Centre for a 2 week work experience taster?
