CWP volunteers play a very valuable role in supporting nearly every area of our work, and they help out in a range of different roles in various locations all across Cheshire and Wirral. Current Volunteering Opportunties (Starting Well)
Meet and Greet volunteer
The post holder would provide support to the Children Centre team, meeting and greeting visitors and directing people to areas within the centre. The post holder will work alongside the team to provide a peer support presence in the centres to encourage and enhance community engagement, access and positive experience of the centres.

Work experience in the NHS is a fantastic way to gain awareness and understanding into a particular career. It can also be a valuable way of gaining confidence and experience of working in a team and caring for people.
The Starting Well Service are currently offering a 2 week Work Experience Programme at Blacon Children's Centre, Chester.
