Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) provides a Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Service for children and young people from birth to nineteen, who may have specific speech, language and/or communication needs. Services are provided in clinics, schools, pre-school settings, children's centres, the child development centre, home and hospital.

This service provides advice and support for children and young people who have specific speech, language and/or communication needs. These difficulties may be with speech pronunciation, understanding and using language, stammering, social communication, voice, eating and drinking.

If you have got concerns about your child’s developing communication and they are between 18 and 24 months old, you can call our dedicated Speech and Language Therapy Advice line for help and support. 

Opening hours

Tuesdays: 9:00am until 10:00am 

Thursdays: 3:00pm until 4:00pm
