Turning Point

Partner Services

Turning Point’s Young People’s Drug & Alcohol service is a voluntary service which operates across the whole of Cheshire West and Chester supporting Young People up to 18 years of age.  Our dedicated recovery and support workers operate out of locations across the county and provide a community based service offering confidential specialist one-to-one support at a location to suit the young person; for example in schools, colleges, children’s centres and GP surgeries.

If you are a young person who would like support or you know someone who would like a referral into Turning Point or would like further information about our service please contact us via email, phone or text.  We have a simple referral form which can be filled in and emailed back to us and we accept referrals from anyone including school, partner agencies, GPs and parents.  If you are a young person wanting support you can self-refer into our service; just email, call or text us and will make contact with you to arrange an initial one to one session.

Our Services Include:

  • Specialist Targeted Interventions
  • Education, Harm Reduction, Advice and Guidance
  • One-to-One Key Working Sessions
  • Psychosocial interventions
  • Multi agency care planning
  • Access to Specialist Medical Support
  • Onward referral to other agencies

The service is open to those under 18 years of age.  In some circumstances young adults can be referred into service; where the young person is accessing mental health service support, if the young person is a care leaver or they have a learning disability. Please contact the service if you are unsure whether you or a young adult would fit the criteria. The young person must reside within Cheshire West and Chester.

Please do not hesitate to make contact with the service if you want any further information or have any questions.  We look forward to hearing from you!

We work in the community across the county in Northwich, Winsford, Ellesmere Port, Chester and surrounding rural areas so you need to live within Cheshire West & Chester to be referred in for support.  Our postal address is 51 Boughton, Chester, CH3 5AF.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
