Out Of Hours Advice Line - CYP
The advice line is open to everyone (children, young people, relatives, teachers, other professionals) and allows people to talk to a mental health professional if they are concerned or would like advice about a child or young person’s mental health.
Information Leaflets / Booklets
Information packs containing leaflets and booklets are offered to you by your Health Visitor at your first inital visit and during follow up visits. Digital copies of those leaflets and more can be found in this section.
Open Advice Drop In's
Starting Well offer a number of ‘Open Advice Drop In Sessions’ throughout Cheshire West and Chester within local community venues providing a warm and friendly experience to both families and children.
The Local Offer
Cheshire West and Chester Council works closely with many organisations in the independent, voluntary and community sectors to make sure services are joined-up and clearly signposted. The Local Offer covers services for children and young people, families and adults so the website provides a central one-stop-shop for all our residents and care professionals.
Button batteries are small round, silver batteries found in lots of electrical toys and devices. As well as being a choking hazard, button batteries can cause internal burns, internal bleeding, and in some cases, even deaths.
If you are concerned that someone you know may be in a relationship and is at risk of domestic violence, this booklet can help you.
